How do I keep my hair blonde on a budget?

If you follow me on my other social medias you’ll know I am not a natural blonde. I take a lot of time to make sure my hair stays blonde, whilst maintaining a healthy look. I have wanted to make a beauty advice post for a long time so today I will mention all the products I am loving to keep my hair blonde! There are so many beauty posts floating around at the moment but most of them include high-end products so you’ll be pleased to know that all the products mentioned are drugstore and have a grand total of only ten pounds!

In shower products

Ever since having blonde hair, purple shampoo has been my saviour! This Sunshine Blonde duo by Creightons is not only super affordable but does such a good job at brightening the blonde as well as vanishing any brassy tones. The conditioner contains argan oil and chamomile, which creates a reflective shine to my hair, whilst allowing it to smell amazing! I have heard amazing reviews of the Lush Daddy-O shampoo, which contains all natural products to brighten blondes and I can’t wait to get my hands on it so stay tuned for a review!

Hair dying

I don’t know about you but regular hair dying makes my bank balance want to cry. So this Clairol root touch up saves money significantly, as well as being a quick easy fix of dark regrowth as it only takes 15 minutes! I have bought this colour in the shade Extra Light Blonde and shade number 10. The last product I am going to talk about is Boots Colour vibe shampoo dye. This hair dye is essentially a shampoo and on the packaging it advises you to use it up to three days a week and leave it to settle for 5 minutes each time. This product is becoming one of my favourites this month and keeps my hair looking fresh and bright. I got this in the shade Ash Blonde and I would recommend it to anyone!

I hope this helps any of my blonde friends out there and you enjoy this post!

I will have to check out that shampoo and conditioner next time I get my hair done. I am a natural blonde, but my natural shade is a dark blonde. I prefer a lighter shade, so I get my hair highlighted about every four to five months. However, an issue I always have is that the highlights slightly darken and turn a bit brassy. I’ve tried the Regis Silver Shine shampoo that I got from the salon (which was expensive). It was a purple shampoo too, but I still didn’t think it helped that much.

Oh wow, the salon can get expensive!! Are you from the UK? Because if you are the colour vibe does me wonders I prefer it because after the shower you instantly see a result and I buy that from Boots. Thank you for reading! Xx
