August Empties

Hello lovelies, I am sorry for not uploading a favourites post last month! But for August I thought I should mix it up a bit and do something different for my favourites!

Throughout the months of July and August I have been saving all of my empty products I have used up to review on this post! However, I won’t mention any products I have mentioned before but if you wanted to read my other haul posts click here.

Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub

This scrub makes my skin so much and I love it! I don’t usually use scrubs, I used to think they were a waste of money until I used this product! The ingredients are sea salt, lime and avocado butter, which are so good for your skin and smells so refreshing. You can always rely on Lush to sell amazing products.

Verdict: Yes, I would definitely repurchase this product.

Collection Primed & Ready

I bought this primer in the shade Illumination and it has turned into one of my holy grail makeup products. It preps your skin perfectly creating a smooth base before applying my foundation. I have used the other types of primer in the Primed & Ready range but this one is by far my favourite, it creates a healthy glow and it only retails for £4.99.

Verdict: I repurchase this primer each time!

Original Source Vanilla Milk and Raspberry Shower Gel

For all my vegan followers out there you will be pleased to know that this shower gel is vegan and not tested on animals. I got through a few bottles of shower gels during July and August but this was the only one I decided to review, purely because its the only one I would repurchase! However, I wish you could buy them in bigger bottles.

Verdict:  Yes yes yes.

Tresemme Heat Protect Style Primer

I have practically abused my hair with the amounts of dying and bleaching so when styling my hair I do everything I can to protect my hair from further damage. I always use a heat protector spray and this one was on offer so I thought I’d give it a try, especially because Tresemme is usually an amazing brand and one I swear by. However, this was probably the worst spray I have used, it leaves your hair clumped together in sections until you brush it out. It reminds me of spraying hair spray on your hair before using heat appliances, equally as bad is the smell. It has a chemically scent, which is enough to put you off straight away.

Verdict: Its safe to say I will never buy this again!

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Coconut Mask

After just ranting about a horrible hair product you will pleased to know that this is completely opposite. I am obsessed and throughout the past month or two it has been my holy grail product! After shampooing my hair I leave this hair mask on for 5 minutes and it leaves my hair super soft and silky, with a refreshing coconut smell!

Verdict: I am going to repurchase this and I recommend it to anyone with all different hair types!

That’s it for this months favourites! I hope you enjoyed the different style, if you have any recommendations or blog post ideas I would love to hear them below in the comments section.

I seriously don’t know about Lush yet. I can’t find it anywhere in around me. Is the store in the US? Lol. Sorry to sound so confused. Great post though and the coco hair mask makes me want to go buy it!
