New Year, New Goals

I am back today with my second post of the week and today’s is a more cliche post but my theory is if I write down my goals there’s more of a chance of me actually completing them!

I have suffered with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember, 2017 was the year I really tried to tackle my anxiety and I want 2018 to be the same but with my depression.

This is the first year I can remember where I haven’t had lose weight on my list of resolutions. I am forever spending all my time and money on makeup to add to my collection, and it has taken its toll on my hair and body. This year I want to save the money I would spend on makeup and use it on other things like hair and nail appointments and finally get the tattoo I have been swooning over for years.

It would be an absolute dream to have blogging as my full time job and in 2018 I really want to step up my blogging game. When I started my blog my photography was super embarrassing and I am so pleased with how much it has improved and it can only get better! I also want to start uploading content that I want, rather than content I feel like I should upload. I have always wanted to explore and write paranormal/conspiracy theory posts but I’ve never been sure whether anyone would be interested in that.

I absolutely hate putting a number on goals but lets be honest all bloggers have an idea of the amount of followers they would like and for me 400 would be incredible!

I was reading someones blog post the other day and they said they wanted to be fearless with their fashion and I couldn’t agree more. Okay admittedly if you spoke to me 4 or 5 years ago I would have laughed if you said that I want to express myself with my clothes. Back then I had jet black hair and you wouldn’t see me without my Dr Martens and a band tee. I think I have traumatised myself by my emo phase that now my wardrobe is as hella boring. So this year I want to wear exactly what I want and take some more body shots for my blog.

If you scroll through my photo gallery you will see endless amounts of selfies but never a full body shot. As soon as someone else takes a photo of me I seize up and become the most awkward person in the world. So hopefully this year I will create more look books for my blog so keep your eyes peeled for that!

What are your goals for this year? Leave them in the comments below.

See you next Friday at 9am x
