My Go To Glow

I am back again this week with another makeup post but this week its a haul. If you know me personally then you know I am fucking obsessed with highlighters. So I thought why not show you my go to highlighters.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder ‘Iridescent Gold’

Processed with MOLDIV

Starting off with my favourite and one of the cheapest MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder in the shade ‘Iridescent Gold’. I literally can’t hype this product up enough. I bought this from Superdrug for £3 and it is so much better than some high-end highlighters I have tried. As you can tell I have nearly hit pan and I will always repurchase it. Every day I pack this on with a dense highlighting brush, focusing on my cheek bones, cupids bow and tip of my nose.

Sleek Highlighting Palette ‘Solstice’

Processed with MOLDIV

I have featured this beauty in a post before and I am not the only one to go on and on about this palette. I am obsessed with the shade ‘Ecliptic’ and I use this with a fan brush, layering it over the MUA highlighter. This palette did come with a brush but it was so shitty that is now in the bin haha! On the Sleek website it retails for £10 but I got this in the Boots sale so keep your eyes peeled for bargains.

Makeup Obsession ‘Pearl’

My last drugstore highlight is the Makeup Obsession highlighting powder in the shade ‘Pearl’. Makeup Obsession is one of the only drugstore brands that I know of that allows you to build your own palette. But before committing myself to a huge palette I wanted to test one out first and I was blown away by how pigmented this highlighter is, it definitely does not disappoint. On a day to day basis I use this on my brow bone and as an inner corner highlight. This one was also £3!

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated ‘Luminous’

This is either a love or hate product, it is SO shimmery. I used to use this highlighter daily over the MUA highlighter but now the Sleek palette is in my collection it retired to the back of my makeup drawers. I have just started using it again on my cheek bones and it is so glowy. If you want to be seen from space then this is definitely the one for you. It is currently out of stock on the website but I have still linked it and it is sold for £24.

So after reading this I am sure you will know that I don’t know the definition of subtle haha! What is your favourite highlighter?

I’ve been looking for a good highlight for what feels like forever!! That MUA and Sleek one look so pretty (plus they aren’t going to be ridiculously overpriced; I’m a cheapass) might have to pop to Superdrug and give these a go
