I have seen a couple posts like this pop up on my feed and I have loved every single one! A specific one that caught my eye is by the lovely Dont Give A Jam and will be linked here – I definitely recommend it! As you can tell from my blogging pet peeves post you will know be aware that I fucking love a good rant. So this post only seems right to do! I hope you all enjoy!

Books are always better than the film. I have always loved books, there is just something so great about getting absorbed in a story and a world that is not your own. I love the way an author captivates you and allows your mind to teleport to somewhere else. In my opinion, a film rarely achieves this. I get so easily distracted by films, I am just not a film kind of gal. Don’t get me wrong there are some incredible films out there but nothing is more disappointing than your favourite book getting crucified by a shitty film.

13 Reasons Why is the shittest Netflix series. Last year the internet went fucking crazy for this series and after watching one episode I haven’t got a bloody clue why. It is an absolutely awful way to represent mental health. I have struggled with depression for as long as I can remember and have suicidal tendencies so to watch a show that is based purely on suicide and it be so unrealistic is just insulting. I am usually all up for watching/reading stories about mental health but this one is just one big nope. The whole series portrays Hannah to commit a revenge suicide and you can tell straight away that the author has zero experience with any form of mental health illness.

Prosecco tastes horrendous and is extremely over-hyped. Every time I am out with friends on a night out a bottle of prosecco is ordered as I sit there with a beer in hand. I work in a card/gift shop and everywhere I look prosecco is plastered over every single item. In my opinion it tastes bloody awful haha (don’t hate me too much).

I will always chose an iPhone over an Android. I feel like this is a debate I am always having with android users. After using both Apple and Android products, I will always side with Apple. My iPhone and iPad is so so reliable and quick but I can count on both hands the amount of times Androids have failed me. Plus they look so much prettier.

Summer sucks. Yes there are so many good thing warmer weather brings. BUT I can’t stand it, each year as summer rolls around I am greeted with hayfever so you can imagine how ugly I look in a beer garden with itchy red eyes and a runny nose. Disgusting I know. Please can it be Autumn forever.

Another thing I want to give is a massive thank you! This week the blog reached two milestones: reaching 300 followers and the birthday of this blog! I launched my blog one year ago and I am so grateful for all of the friends that has come with it. We have the most supportive community and I won’t ever take it for granted. So thank you!!
