FOLLOW ME AROUND|LONDON

One of my new years resolutions was to explore more of the UK and travel more with my best friend Chan. As you can tell from my insta we have just arrived home from a weekend away to London to celebrate her 20th birthday and it is safe to say we spent, drank and ate far too much! But it was so much fun and I am having serious holiday blues. I absolutely love reading travel posts so I hope you all enjoy.

So the first stop of the day was obviously a beer stop, we went to the cutest little restaurant in Westminster, next to our hotel and the food was incredible! Expensive, but incredible. Whilst feeling slightly tipsy and still trying to fit in with the rest of the tourists in London we walked to Buckingham palace and it truly was so so stunning. The surrounding park is also a must to go and see! Later on we got the tube to Knightsbridge station and went to Harrods and it is the most luxurious shop I have ever been in and the jewellery and lingerie are every girls dream. To finish the evening we got all glammed up for cocktails and food in Victoria!

Waking up with a slight hangover and a strong coffee, we had a day of shopping on Oxford Street! My London haul will be up soon so keep your eyes peeled! Then we saw the London Eye, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square! This was by far the best day and it ended by me and Chan drinking too many shots of tequila!

DAY THREE

This was our last day in London and its safe to say all the tequila shots took their toll! So with some paracetamols and the biggest bottle of water we hit the streets of London again and done a bit of shopping! The weather was awful on this day hence the lack of photos! We tried to go to the National History Museum but the queue was so so long and we were on a time limit because of our journey home so instead we hopped on the tube to Selfridges to swoon over gorgeous lippies and makeup palettes that I definitely can’t afford. Our journey home to Bristol only took 2 and a half hours so it wasn’t too bad!

Overall, we had the most amazing trip away and I am super excited for another! Hopefully the next trip away will be Edinburgh. If you have any suggestions below about places to travel to in the UK be sure to let me know in the comments.

You can find Chan here.

Until next time,

Glad you had a good time in London – the photos look really good! Shame you weren’t here this week, the weather has been so sunny!!! Edinburgh is gorgeous as is Glasglow. I would recommend also seeing Oxford if you like the architecture in Edinburgh. xx

How did I miss this post 🙈! Can’t wait to see your London haul! City breaks always mean drinking a bit too much but what’s a weekend away without a hangover, right? Looking beaut as per! Xxx
