Feeling Reflective & Favourites

Long time no speak. I think this is the longest break I have had from blogging in a very long time and it feels so weird. Blogging has always been on the top of my priority list but recently work has just taken over, I feel like I haven’t got the time to do anything at the moment and it is so weird. When I worked in retail I had so much time to dedicate to just blogging, whereas with my new job I am working so many more hours and once I am home I still feel like I am in work mode. So long story short – I apologise. Hopefully from now I will get back on the weekly uploads bandwagon.

If you have been here since day one, then you will know I religiously uploaded goal and favourites post each month so I am throwing it back and doing an old school post. My monthly favourites!

NEW HAIR & SHINE SPRAY

So I have finally taken the plunge and chopped all my hair off. A few months ago I cut it shorter and now I have finally cut it to the length I want and I am so happy with it. For so long I was so bored of my appearance, and if you have bleached your hair you will understand how gross your hair can feel. I honestly feel so much more confident with short hair. Some may hate it, but your gal needed a change. By having swish new hair, it gives me the excuse to splurge on new hair care products and one that I have been obsessed with is the Argan Oil Shine Mist from Superdrug. It smells amazing and leaves your hair feeling silky soft. The best part is that it’s only £3.99!

THE SECRET LIFE OF JEFFREE STAR

This series killed me. It gave me all the feels. I have only watched Shane since the Graveyard Girl series and ever since I have been in love with him and his content. If you have read my mental health posts then you will know I have suffered with depression and self harm for as long as I can remember, so I related so much to this. This series opened my eyes about Jeffree, I never thought anything bad about him anyway but I respect him so much more after watching this.

FRENCH MANICURE OMBRE NAILS

I feel like there’s definitely a bit of a theme going on and I have potentially spent too much money on self care this month but oh well! I am a nightmare for biting my nails, which makes nail varnish pretty much pointless, so I have treated myself to acrylics and I think I am a little obsessed. They cost me £30, which I think is pretty reasonable considering it is ombre rather than just ordinary gel!

GIRL TIME

I absolutely hate to say this. But for some time I think I took my friendships for granted a little. I am in such an amazing place with friendships at the moment and have the strongest support network around me and I cannot thank them enough. We all know and adore Phoebe and she has been my rock recently and we have been out on endless shopping trips with copious amounts of pancakes and coffee trips. We will be out this weekend so make sure you are following my Instagram to keep up to date with what we are up to!

This is where this post gets harder to write and I feel like I have been putting this off for so long. But me and Cam have split. It isn’t something I really want to talk about online at the moment, but he has been a big part of my blog so it only seems right to share it with you.
