TGIF. I have never been so happy to reach the end of the week – this week has been full of some highs and many lows. Considering last weeks post was so incredibly long I am doing a nice short and sweet post today! I absolutely love reading this style post and my first Week In Numbers post seemed to do pretty well so I hope you all enjoy.
//1…\\ Driving test failed. Ugh I know, I feel like all I am ever doing is moaning about my driving struggles – but I feel like my anxiety is really kicking my ass this week. Okay so my test was on Monday and I failed with one major and four minors – I feel so annoyed and defeated, but all I can do is try again!
//£160…\\ Spent on a weekend away to Brighton! Every year me and Chan like to travel to somewhere in the UK for a girls Christmas trip and so far we have been to Birmingham, London and now we are going to Brighton. I am so so excited and can’t believe how cheap we got the hotel and train fare for considering we are staying near the Seafront in a Premier Inn for 3 nights! Don’t worry I will be sure to write a follow me around!
//40…\\ Hours worked – I have been so busy with my new job that I feel like I am slightly neglecting my Instagram and blog. As I am working in social media, by the time I get home I want time out from staring at a screen. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love my new job and all the perks that come along with it, I just need to dedicate more time to my own accounts.
//2…\\ Nights out. I am so happy that I am surrounded by a fab group of people, I truly am so lucky. After some time of not socialising I have finally gotten my confidence back and started going out more and it feels so good! This is mostly all thanks to Phoebe, she has written a whole blog post about our drunken antics haha!
//6…\\ Episodes of Vampire Diaries watched and yes I am still just as obsessed. I am now on the final season and I am heartbroken it is nearly over. Please recommend me a good Netflix series in the comments below – I will need something to fill the void haha.
//50…\\ Minutes of meditation completed. So I will be writing a full post about anxiety management soon but I can’t not talk about it in todays post. I used to think meditation was a little silly and just for ‘hippies’.
I feel like such a bitch for saying that haha. But it wasn’t until I downloaded Headspace that my entire opinion changed for the better. This has helped me out SO much with managing my anxiety and also providing me a better night sleep. I really can’t recommend Headspace enough!
//10000…\\ Photos taken from me and Phoebes day out in Bath. Okay so I was exaggerating a little but really when I say we take a lot of photos, I mean it. I give Phoebe credit for my Insta’s because she will stand there for 30 minutes getting the perfect shot and try to make me laugh so I can get a looking natural but definitely fake laughing photo and I absolutely love her for that.
Thank you all for reading and I hope you all have a fab weekend!!
Until next time,
My Week In Numbers #1 – here.
