Hello honeys, as you can tell from the title and my Instagram I have been away on a girls trip to Greece and as always, I have to share it with you! Me and Chan have travelled a lot the past few years but this was our first time abroad together and it was definitely a holiday I won’t forget! All of our previous holiday follow me arounds will be at the bottom of this post.
DAY ONE
So on Sunday 5th my alarm was set for 3am, which was a bit of a shock to the system but by the time the coffee and burger king brekkie worked its magic, we were so hyper. With a book in one hand and a pint in the other, the flight was actually very enjoyable (apart from the turbulence).
Four hours later we arrived in Heraklion, Crete and it was beautiful and so picturesque and everything we hoped for.
DAY TWO
During our second day, we attended a rep meeting to learn all about what we can do nearby and then took full advantage of the free bar and soaked up the sunshine. The temperature was around 26 degrees so its safe to say I got a little bit burnt! (Note to self: factor 15 is defo not high enough). It was so nice to relax after a day of travelling and fully unwind, with an ice-cream and a book.
After our dinner, we rushed to the beach to watch the sunset and grab some photos and it was beyond beautiful. As you can tell from the photos it was extremely windy haha – thank you Chan for being my photographer (you’re a babe).
DAY THREE
Our hotel was located close to the beach, which meant we were surrounded by gorgeous walks and shops. Day three was spent exploring, drinking and eating way too much and it was so amazing!
DAY FOUR
This was potentially my favourite day from the holiday as we explored the city Heraklion and it was so idyllic. There was a range of shops, some selling the typical fridge magnets, postcards, and penis shaped bottle openers hahaha (I know), but the others were so quaint and traditional. We spent the day wandering around the town and then headed back to the hotel to top up our tans a little more on the sunbed.
If you have ever been to Greece before you may know of their traditional drink, Raki. Well. I thought it would be a good idea to get some Raki shots in. Oh no, what a bad idea. It literally is like lighter fluid where it was so strong haha! It was such a fun and drunken night and ended up singing way too loudly and badly to 80’s music.
DAY FIVE
Day five was a bloody eventful one hahaha. So your gal ended up in the hospital and no not because of any drunken antics, no. Because of a fucking mosquito hahaha – only me. So I woke up to the biggest lump on my forehead, I looked like Megamind (if you don’t know who that is, google it you won’t be disappointed), so after a lot of laughs about how ridiculous I looked, the anxiety kicked in and I went to reception for directions to a chemist. But she was rather concerned and next thing I know a taxi to the hospital is being called, so off I went haha. 3 anxiety attacks and £150 later I was connected to an IV drip and had my forehead and eyes covered in cream and wet gauzes to try and combat the allergic reaction.
Looking back now it is funny because it’s such a typical Chloe thing to do, but at the time I was terrified. I am so grateful the treatment was so quick and effective and my doctor was so kind, if I didn’t go to the hospital I don’t know how big the lump would’ve got. After the drip, they gave me two lots of medication and two creams to apply for 4 days and it worked wonders!
DAY SIX
This is the part of the post where things get even more negative. This is the day that I discovered my ex cheated on me, so as you can imagine the timing was bloody marvellous – kick a girl when she’s down haha. I spoke more about this in last weeks post, because cheating is something that takes its toll on your self-confidence. So that day was honestly very challenging on my mental health, probably the worst day I have had in a long time.
DAY SEVEN
Time to go home! As our alarms woke us way too early, we headed back to the hospital so I could get checked over and get the approval that I was safe to fly home and luckily the doctor was happy with how much fast I was healing, so I got the go-ahead for flying home!
I hope you enjoyed following me around on my adventures in Greece, I am sorry I have ended it on a bit of a negative. I feel like a lot of my posts have been quite sad recently and I do apologise for that, but faking happiness just seems so wrong. I hope things will start looking up soon (please don’t unfollow I’m not always this sad hahaha!).
Until next time,

Wow, I have so much to say about the post, where do I start, okay, so firstly WOW that scenery looks so aesthetic and looking at all those beautiful pictures is making me super jealous! You look so, so pretty in the photos too, I love your outfits! You should definitely do a lookbook one day for outfits you’ve worn that you liked! Secondly, I feel so sorry for you for being attacked by a mosquito on holiday, that’s literally the worst, also I still cannot believe your ex would cheat on you, I mean it’s definitely his loss, and you’re worth way more than him. love this post, definitely do more like this! xo

Day 5 sounded SO eventful & literally the typical thing that would happen to me if I went anywhere hahaha, glad it got cleared up okay though !!
Never apologise for being honest and speaking about how you feel, we’re all here for you and I’m personally really grateful that you share your hardships and experiences with us because it takes courage and let’s everyone know they’re not alone – it makes you human !! You’re worth a million times more than someone who doesn’t recognise something amazing when he has it and you are so much better off without him. Don’t forget it!! xx

We are not sure yet but we are thinking of Athens perhaps. I have never been before so there are so many options to pick from. Slightly worried about being vegetarian as we struggled a bit in Portugal to find places to eat out but I love Greek food so hopefully there will be options! xx
