July’s Feelings & Favourites

Happy Fri-yay! Not going to lie, I have spent the past hour writing posts, then deleting it. I feel like nothing I am writing is good enough and I absolutely hate it when I get into moods like this because I have so many ideas I just can’t find the right words. So we are sticking to a bit of an easy one this week, is it a cop-out? Yes haha, but I hope you all enjoy nonetheless.

Date Nights
So obviously my biggest favourite is Harry and it feels so nice to finally talk about him on this little corner of the internet. We have been dating since June and I have wanted to scream about him from the rooftops but I have kept it hidden from my blog as everything is still so new and let’s be honest telling my new date that I have been rambling about him online makes me sound a bit weird haha. Me and Harry started off as work colleagues so we have been close friends for a year now and to finally be dating feels so amazing. I want to dedicate a whole post to talk about me and him, because starting to date again after being cheated on can be pretty daunting but spoiler alert: Harry has a heart of gold and makes me super happy.

Pretty Little Thing Bodycon Dress
Right, soppy moment over. Another fav is this gorg dress from Pretty Little Thing that I originally bought for my birthday night out with Phoebe. One thing I hate is clothes shopping, I find it so stressful and I always come out of the changing rooms feeling even worse about my body so I tend to wear the same outfits all the time, which is pretty annoying. So after a little pep talk, I ordered some dresses from Missguided and Pretty Little Thing and 4 that I ordered was awful, like seriously bad, but luckily one of them actually looks okay and only cost me £28 in the sale! I am usually a size 8 but this dress does feel more like a 6 and I definitely needed help getting in and out of it, it’s a good job me and Phoebe are close. In fact, that whole night was a favourite!

Family Holiday in Brixham
In early July me and my family went on a little trip to Brixham and it was brilliant to just have family time and forget about everything for a week. We stayed in the cutest freaking cottage that overlooks the harbour and has the prettiest garden. This holiday was the first time I have been to Brixham and the atmosphere is so amazing and has surprisingly good nightlife. On the first night we were there, me and Dad went to a tiny pub with live music and got a little too drunk and danced and sung to old rock songs all night long. It’s safe to say we partied too hard and I ended up throwing up and the next day had the worlds worst hangover. As well as drinking copious amounts of alcohol and spending too much time in bars, we also explored all the local towns and there will be a few posts coming about our day trips to the zoo, Torquay and a village called Cockington.

No.6 Collaborations Project
Ed Sheeran’s album. Oh my fucking god. It is the best thing he has ever released, don’t hate me, but after divide, I went off of his music, I found it boring. BUT he has blessed us with a collaboration album and it is bloody amazing, I honestly can’t pick a favourite song. If you have been living under a rock and haven’t listened to it yet, do it! You won’t be disappointed I promise.

Short Hair
Early on in the month I had a bit of a fuck it moment and got my hair cut short again and I am so freaking obsessed with it. I feel like the most like me when I have short hair and the lovely girl who cut it done such a good job so huge shout out to you. However, it actually takes me more time to style it now it’s short, curling all the tiny pieces at the back is a pain but looks so freaking good when it’s done.

July has been a pretty good one, to be honest, I am surrounded by such lovely people and I feel like everything is starting to look up. About two weeks ago I was in a bit of a dark spot and it is literally the best feeling when you see light at the end of the tunnel, so thank you to everyone who continues to support me.
