Coffee Guide to Bath #3 & Follow Me Around

Happy Friday honeys (if I manage to get this post up in time). I had plans to upload a podcast favourites post but not going to lie, I got so bored writing it and I thought if I am bored then you guys will be falling asleep whilst reading it. So I am sticking to what I do best, talking all about coffee and sharing my day with you.

If you have stuck around for long enough then you will know about the little series I have going on, my Coffee Guide to… And so far I have posted guides to Bath, Bristol and Brighton but today’s post is a bit of a 2 in 1 post as it is a mini-guide to Bath and a follow me around, so I hope you enjoy!

Last Sunday was spent in Bath with my bestie Chan and we had such a fun day and luckily the weather was kind to us. Our day started with a 10 min train journey which was a major throwback to the days where we would catch the train together for college. As we arrived we made a dash to my latest fav coffee shop, The Provenist and it was just as amazing as I remember.

The Provenist, Walcot Street

This cafe is a hidden gem of Bath and is located just off of Walcot Street. They are connected to their sister company, Neptune, so as you can imagine the decor is to die for. With foliage and faux flowers dotted around and sheepskin rugs, this cafe just screams cute countryside vibes.

As we arrived we ordered iced lattes in an attempt to cool down because of the unexpected warm weather and when they arrived I couldn’t believe how picturesque it was. So I took full advantage and made Chan take 1000 photos (and no, I am not exaggerating).

One thing I love most about The Provenist is how sustainable their menu is, all of their produce is from local suppliers and they have an open kitchen so you can see your food being made. I am a creature of habit and ordered my absolute favourite brekkie, a granola bowl and may I add, the prettiest granola bowl ever. Chan, on the other hand, ordered pancakes and they looked so incredible but were so cinnamonny so if you are like me and hate cinnamon defo don’t opt for them! Other dishes I was eyeing up were avocado on toast and the goodness bowl – so be prepared for another blog post about this gorgeous cafe!

I absolutely adored this cafe and recommend it! But it is on the smaller side so make sure you get there early!

Drink: 8/10
Food: 9/10
Staff: 8/10
Decor: 10/10
Overall: 9/10

Now back to the follow me around… After the delicious brunch, we had a browse around their connected shop, Neptune, which is basically an extremely boujiee version of Ikea hahaha. Even though moving out isn’t on the cards for me yet, I can’t help but swoon over beautiful chic kitchens. I just need to add a few zeros to my bank balance hahaha.

Next on our to-do list was shopping! I have a party to go to in September so I am desperate for a nice dress but I had no luck. I can’t find any nice clothes at the moment, they are all Autumnal clothes which I love but it is just way too hot for jumpers yet! So I ended up just buying some shoes, makeup wipes and a reed diffuser – nothing too glamorous haha! I may have to stick to online shopping so if you guys know where to get good dresses from please help a gal out.

When we got home I was greeted by a huge box on my doorstep and when I opened it I was surprised with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, a teddy bear and truffles. How freaking cute?! I legit started screaming and jumped up and down, you can always rely on me to act cool. I defo have the cutest man ever, he’s a keeper.

This has been the happiest Sunday ever and I am so grateful to be surrounded by the loveliest people ever. Thank you all for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

PS. Thank you so much for the love on last weeks post. I am so so overwhelmed. You’re the best.

Until next time,

Firstly, that Denim dress you’re wearing (or is it a jumpsuit, I couldn’t tell?) is so beautiful, I love it! Secondly, every picture in this post is AMAZING, your friend Chan is an amazing photographer! All the food and drinks in this post are making me so hungry, even though I literally just ate. I recommend Shein for dresses, they arrive pretty quickly and they have a really affordable range. Your man is 100% a keeper! Girl if he buys you a teddy bear, he is the one, trust me! So happy you had a great time in Bath! can’t wait for your upcoming posts xx

This sounds like a lovely way to spend a Sunday. I always end up tidying and cleaning on a Sunday and it somehow manages to take up the entire day even though it should only take me a few hours (blame Spotify and YouTube for distracting me). Neptune sounds like such a cute shop – I really must visit next time I am in Bath! xx

LOVE a sustainable menu – we love to see businesses saving the world one local-produce granola bowl at a time hahah! When I’m next down in Bath I’ll need to check this place out and you’re coming with me! OMG your boyfriend is so sweet!! Legit tears if my man surprised me like that but I don’t think mine has that romantic sweetheart side to him lmao xxxx
