September’s Feelings & Favourites

Its officially spooky season and I am so excited that autumn is finally here!! After 3 weeks I am finally back blogging and it feels amazing. September has been the most chaotic month, but the good kind of chaos, the kind of chaos that I can’t stop talking about. So today’s upload is a favourites post, I hope you all enjoy!

Moving Out
So I am the most impatient girl in the world and am revealing the biggest news first – I have moved in with Harry and I couldn’t be happier. After 21 years I have finally flown from the nest and left the family home and not going to lie, it is a bit scary having to be an adult hahaha. But I am absolutely loving it!! I love the cosy nights in, being with my bestie every night and even the bickering in the supermarket. Six months ago my life was falling apart, and now it is perfect and everything I have ever wished for.

Surprise Parties
At the beginning of the month, I was kindly invited to Phoebe’s boyfs surprise party and it was so much fun! I am sure that she will have a blog post lined up all about how she planned the ultimate surprise party, so I don’t want to reveal too much. But it was such a lovely evening spent in a gorgeous wine bar in Bath, Le Vignoble, and it was so much fun getting glammed up with Harry and drinking too much prosecco. It was so nice to see how happy and overwhelmed Matt was with the surprise and how in love he and Phoebe are. (Phoebe please can you plan all of my bday parties?!)

Christmas Candles
Yes, you read that right, I have got the Christmas scents out already. Every year I get excited for the festivities earlier and earlier and I have no shame in it, me and Meg were even listening to Micheal Buble at work the other day!! Yankee Candle will always be my all-time fav and their sweet scents are to die for. Ones that I have been gravitating to the most are Christmas Cookie, Macaron Treats and All Is Bright, they are a bit more on the pricey side, but so worth it!

Work Events
For the first time ever I am including work in a favourites post, I know, who am I?! But a few weeks ago me and my work bestie Carole attended a work event called Bath in Bloom, which is basically an evening full of oldies talking about gardens, which sounds boring. BUT me and Carole were treated to free wine all night long and we had a blast. Long story short, we work at 4 pubs and entered a gardening competition and won!! So our cute little trophy (which has been treasured for nearly 30 years) ended up coming on a drunken night out with us and its safe to say all of the bouncers had something to say when I got ID’d, with a trophy in hand hahaha.

Lizzo
I always include a music fav and this month (as well as August’s fav) is Lizzo. What a queen. She is literally everything I aspire to be, sassy, fierce, independent and full of self-love. Whenever I, or one of my gals, feels down I always put on Lizzo as a reminder that we are all amazing and can handle anything. (I publically apologise to Harry for having to deal with my sassy ass after I listen to Juice and Like a Girl).

September has been such a good month and full of so many positive changes, but I do feel guilty for being so mia on my blog. I feel like the longer you leave uploading a blog post, the more difficult it is to come back because now I feel so fussy with what I say! So please bear with me, new content will be coming your way (I promise).
