Hi honeys, it has been a hot minute since I uploaded a week in numbers post, so I am back today with a chatty catch-up post. These are one of my fav posts to read and write, it feels like I am just catching up with friends as opposed to just sitting on my sofa and writing about how I feel on this lil corner of the internet. This week has been full of celebrations, at home and at work! So go grab a cuppa and let’s have a catch-up.
//42…\\ Hours at work. Like most people, I have my up and down weeks at work. Most weeks I can’t wait for Friday to roll around, but this week I have genuinely loved it and even stayed late most days. My lovely boss has given me so many opportunities the past year, which is so refreshing considering my lack of experience and young age, but this week he has given me the opportunity to learn how to manage the accounts for our business. It’s so nice to be progressing in the company and learning more.
//1…\\ Brunch trip with my bestie. You all know and love Phoebe as much as I do. Last Saturday I hopped on the train to Bath to visit her and we had such a cute day brunching and shopping – specifically Christmas shopping! I am trying my hardest to be more prepared with my Christmas pressies this year and not rush everything in December. Have you all started yet?
//2…\\ Date nights with Harry. Even though me and Harry live together now, we don’t really see each other as much as I would like to due to our hours. So long story short, we both work in the pub industry, I am based in the office and he is the general manager so when I work he is off and when he works I am off. So every moment together is cherished and this week we went on two lovely dates! The first being a curry night with his family and the second being a little date night in our local pub. It was so nice to properly catch up with him and have quality time.
//30…\\ Minutes in the salon. I have such a love/hate relationship with my eyebrows and I visited the loveliest beauty salon for the second time this week to have a brow treatment. I have spoken about getting brow lamination before, and that post is linked here – but it was so nice to get them tidied up again. I feel so much more confident when I have a good brow day!
//1…\\ Christmas tree bought! There’s a bit of a Christmas theme going on this post – I feel like now Halloween is over we are finally counting down the days till Christmas haha. This is my first ever year spending the festivities away from the family house, which means now I can go crazy with the decorations. So this week I bought me and Harry the cutest tree and I just cannot wait to put it up.
//3…\\ Horror films watched! Me and Chan have loads of little traditions and a horror movie and wine night is one of them. Admittedly we did celebrate Halloween a week too late, but it was so much fun.
Overall this week has treated me so well and I feel like everything is working out for me. I am trying my hardest not to apologise for the lack of consistent uploads, I have had such writer’s block recently and to be honest, finding the time to blog without distractions has been tough. So thank you for sticking with me and always showing this little blog love and support, you are all the best x

I already want to turn the flat into a winter wonderland. Harry actually put the tree into the attick to stop me putting it up already haha! Aww that’s kind of cute! You should plead with him to let you start decorating, just over a month to go and the decorations need to be seen and be out for a decent amount of time 😉

Sounds like you’ve had a great week! It’s so important to make time for date nights even when you live together. Your first Christmas together will be so lovely, especially having your own space to decorate as you want! It’s my first Christmas living with my boyfriend too, I’m so excited 😊 Writers block is the worst – hopefully inspiration strikes you soon! xx

This is the first year I have moved out of the family home too (except for University) and we have just bought a Christmas tree too! I am so excited to purchase decorations for the flat and tree!! Although I worry I am getting a bit too controlling as I am trying to keep a winter wonderland theme of blue, white and silver… my boyfriend does not approve! xx

Its so weird moving out isnt it?! I am still not 100% used to it, but I absolutely love it. I cant wait to start decorating. I think if Harry would let me, the tree would be up already hahaha! Thanks for commenting gorgeous xxx
