Bournemouth Beach Huts | OOTD

Todays OOTD is shot in officially the most instagrammable location and I have never felt more like a stereotypical blogger than I do now. In last weeks post, 72 Hours in Bournemouth, I mentioned our day trip to the beach and how we stumbled upon a gorgeous array of beach huts and obviously I made Chan take a thousand pictures (think of the gram).

A few weeks ago me and Chan travelled to Bournemouth for a festive trip away, but me being me, didn’t pack for the right weather – think thin blouses and short sleeve tops. So this outfit was actually purchased during a mad dash to Primark on the hunt for something warm.

I bought this jumper as it was the first item that I saw which was affordable and cute, but when I put it on I fell in love and it has become one of my staple items this winter. It only set me back £13 and is surprisingly so soft and thick considering the price point. The style is very oversized so I sized down because quite frankly, I am not tall enough to pull of the oversized look. I have tried on oversized shirts before but it looks like I am a 5 year old trying on my dads shirt – not so cute haha.

I have paired it with some black skinnies from River Island, which are the comfiest jeans ever but annoyingly don’t have front pockets. Why on earth do companies assume women don’t need to carry things in their pockets? What do we do with our phone or a lippy? Apart from the lack of pockets, I can’t rate these jeans high enough!

Adding accessories completes every outfit and you won’t ever see me without my Pandora rings. No matter whether I am having a cosy day at home or a night out, I will always have my rings on, they are amazing quality and never lose their sparkle! I started my post with a Primark bargain and I am finishing this post with a Primark bargain – my hoops. Whenever I pop into Primark I seem to find myself always coming out with a pair of earrings, they are just too pretty to leave! I bought this pair with a set of 2 other styles and only cost £3!! How freaking amazing?!

I know this post was very short and sweet, but I hope you all enjoyed nonetheless. Can we take a moment to appreciate how god damn pretty the beach huts are? It was so funny taking these photos because I usually opt for OOTD photos in quiet streets, but in these photos I got so many funny looks (especially from middle aged men, not knowing what the fuck is going on). Big love to Chan for being the ultimate bestie and taking all of these in the freezing cold – you’re the best.

Until next time,
