AD | Revamping My Home With Poster Store

Happy Friday, I am so excited for today’s post as I get to share how I have revamped my home and made it a bit more me. I’m a bit guilty of just ‘living’ in my home rather than loving it as homeware shopping never seems to be on the top of my priority list. But it’s about time that changed! Since Christmas I’ve had a never ending ‘to buy’ list and one thing on there was prints so when Poster Store got in touch with me asking if I would be interested in choosing some of their posters to decorate our home with, I couldn’t say yes quick enough – it came just at the right time!

Poster Store is an online store that sells a range of affordable Scandinavian designed posters and luxurious quality frames. This Swedish based company has so many different styles of prints to choose from that are conveniently already categorised, from Nature & Botanical to Vintage etc. What’s best is that a new poster collection is released EVERY Tuesday!

When clicking on their website, the first thing that grabbed my eye was their Gallery Wall page. I have always wanted to make my own gallery wall but never know where to start, but their gallery wall page gave me the much needed inspo! As you’ll soon be able to tell, I fell in love with the neutral, calming prints! With that inspiration in mind, I searched their site for posters that would suit our living room, bedroom, bathroom.

As our flat is not the biggest in the world, it was important to me not to choose something that was too big. But luckily Poster store offers various sizes, making it so easy to choose the size that’s best suited to your space. As you click onto the desired poster, there is a drop down of sizes and I opted for 30x40cm and 21x30cm (A4), but some go all the way up to 70x100cm! All of their matte posters are printed on sustainably produced high quality card.

Starting with the bathroom, I chose 2 gorgeous posters, One Line Art No 2 in 30x40cm and Venice in 21x30cm. Line Art has always been a style I have been drawn to (no pun intended), I find the simplicity of them so classy. As I was scrolling down Poster Store’s bestsellers page, the gorgeous bright colours of Venice jumped out at me straight away, and considering it is a place I have always wanted to visit, I thought why not bring Venice to us instead (travelling is off the cards for a while)!

With of course huge thanks to the gallery wall inspiration, we move onto the bedroom posters: Birds By The Beach, Beach Grass & In The Reeds, all in sizes 30x40cm. I absolutely adore how these posters look together, the aesthetic matches so perfectly and creates such a calm vibe – perfect for the bedroom! Has anyone been watching or following Anastasia Kingsnorth’s moving vlogs? Well her flat is absolutely stunning and these prints remind me of something she would typically opt for. I love them! – Their unique prints help you create your own gallery wall tailor-made for your home.

Lastly, we have a singular poster that I have actually displayed on our cabinet, instead of hung on the wall. And that is Sunset By The Beach in 21x30cm. Previously I never knew what to really do with this space and it usually ended up being a dumping ground for mail that needed filing away, cards that needed writing and any other clutter that we didn’t know what to do with. For my birthday I got some gorgeous stems of Pampas grass to put on the cabinet with the intention of creating some order and purpose with this space. And to complement the Pampas grass I have displayed this beautiful poster and what I love most is that on the back of the 21x30cm (A4) Black Wooden frames, there’s a stand on the back!

Once all of my posters were chosen and added to my basket, I moved on to the Frames category. Admittedly I was blown away by the wide range of high quality materials, styles and colours! To keep a consistent theme throughout I paired all of my posters with the Black Wooden frame that’s suitable for horizontal and vertical posters. The frames are provided with acrylic glass, making the frames so much lighter and stronger – perfect if you are using command strips!

I am so over the moon with how all of these posters look and it has given our home the modernisation that was very much needed.
